Offers

Please note: Offers and Discounts must be applied for during initial contact. Failure to do so will result in the offers being withdrawn. They cannot be applied retrospectively.

Discounts are only applicable to editing services. Full prices apply to any other type of work.

BFC 2015

All submissions made before the end of BFC 2016 by attendees of BFC 2015 will be eligible for a 25% discount. This cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer EXCEPT the Free Chapter Offer and the Payment Plan. Anyone claiming this offer will be checked against the list of attendees.

Free Chapter Offer

ONLY AVAILABLE TO NEW CLIENTS.

All submissions from new clients are eligible for a free chapter edit. This allows you to determine whether you like our style and want us to complete the piece. To qualify, the chapter must be a maximum of 15 pages long, and double spaced. If you have a prologue, it can be included in the offer with the first chapter, providing it does not exceed the stated number of pages.

Benefit Offer

All clients in receipt of state benefits are eligible for a 20% discount, and may negotiate a manageable payment plan. This offer does not invalidate the Free Chapter Offer, and can be used in conjunction. However, the completed work will not be returned until final payment has been received. Proof of benefit must be supplied prior to any work commencing. Failure to provide proof will result in discounts being withdrawn.

Returning Author Offer

If you have previously had a manuscript edited by us, any further manuscripts submitted are eligible for a 10% discount.

First Time Author Offer

If you have never published before, you are eligible for a 5% discount, and free advice on how to self-publish should you choose that route.

Payment Plans

We recognise in the current economic climate, it is often difficult to find the money to pay for an editor in two lump sums and we don’t want anyone to suffer hardship when they need their novel edited. Our easy payment plan, which is interest-free, allows you to budget and make payments while your novel is being edited.

So, how does it work? An initial payment is made at the onset of the work. The balance is spread either by stage payments being made as each chapter is completed (Line/Copy edits) or, for longer edits, at the end of each round. Final payment must be received before completion of the work and sign-off.

NB: Failure to make payments by the due date (without a good reason) will result in cessation of work on your manuscript, and the full amount will become payable immediately.
